In its 11th year of supporting the NSCA Education Foundation, the Drunk Unkles have raised more than $1 million through their various fundraising efforts.

Dubbed “Obsessed with Vinyl,” the Drunk Unkles are going old school to help provide funding and awareness to new schools for the new industry-wide program called Ignite.

Monies raised from industry professionals, manufacturers, consultant firms, dealers, distributors, rep firms, and integrators as part of this annual event have contributed to the NSCA Education Foundation’s ability to establish meaningful and impactful programs, offer scholarships, and provide training opportunities for new professionals and industry veterans.

The Drunk Unkles began more than 11 years ago as a way to help others. The band performed its first charity fundraising event to help the family of an industry peer who unexpectedly lost his life. “The Drunk Unkles have supported the industry and its members by sharing their talent at great venues for more than decade,” says Chuck Wilson, NSCA Education Foundation director.  “This annual Drunk Unkles performance, has grown to become one of the most popular must-attend networking events held during InfoComm week.”

Sponsorship of this annual fundraising event will be used to fund the new industry workforce development program – Ignite. In addition the great work done by the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS K-12) co-founded by NSCA wouldn’t be possible without this financial support.
